 After a string of nine wins, Pine-Richland's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fox Chapel Foxes. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Pine-Richland has scored all season.
  Peyton Ford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Pine-Richland's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-3. As for Fox Chapel, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Pine-Richland will take on North Allegheny at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Pine-Richland's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so North Allegheny's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fox Chapel, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Armstrong at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
