Basketball Game Preview: Minneapolis Lions vs. Ellinwood Eagles

The Minneapolis Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Ellinwood Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Minneapolis took on Otis-Bison on Thursday. Minneapolis secured a 51-46 W over Otis-Bison.

Meanwhile, Ellinwood didn't have too much trouble with LaCrosse on Thursday as they won 60-42.

Minneapolis' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Ellinwood, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Things could have been worse for Minneapolis, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-28 loss to Ellinwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
