Basketball Recap: Mabton Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Mabton won the last time they faced River View and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Mabton Vikings' way against the River View Panthers as the Mabton Vikings made off with a 64-43 victory. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Panthers are ranked 360th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mabton is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for River View, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the court. Mabton will head out to face Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while River View will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
