Baseball Recap: Lutheran Starts off Right with Win over Vista PEAK Prep

Lutheran took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Vista PEAK Prep Bison 3-2. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tyce Macnamara was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lutheran Lions duke it out with Holy Family Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Lutheran has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Grand Junction Central at 6:00 p.m. on March 13th.
