Volleyball Game Preview: Dongola Demons vs. Egyptian Pharaohs

Dongola is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Egyptian a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Dongola came up short against Joppa-Maple Grove and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Egyptian also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Goreville by a score of 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9.

Egyptian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Dongola, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Dongola came out on top in a nail-biter against Egyptian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pharaohs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
