Elkhorn Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 40-33 victory over the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elkhorn Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Rutjens, who posted 13 points in addition to eight steals and six boards. The dominant performance gave Rutjens a new career-high in steals. Jj Black was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Elkhorn Valley pushed their record up to 26-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Bishop Neumann, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.
