Football Recap: McKinney Boyd Takes a Loss + How To Watch

McKinney Boyd lost against Prosper back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broncos were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 68-31. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Eagles are ranked sixth).

Despite the loss, McKinney Boyd still got an impressive performance from Brandon Dixon Jr, who picked up 108 receiving yards and two scores.

McKinney Boyd now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prosper, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, McKinney Boyd and Prosper will both be playing Plano East the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Broncos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
