Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood was the 5-2 winner over Diboll when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Westwood Panthers fell just short of the Diboll Lumberjacks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Westwood's record now sits at 1-11. As for Diboll, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Palestine the next time they take the pitch. Westwood will head out to face Palestine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Diboll will host them at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
