Morse wins going away against Erskine Academy

The Morse Shipbuilders's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down Erskine Academy 58-44. For Morse, this counts as revenge for the 55-41 loss Erskine Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2017.
Morse had a senior duo take command as Calin Gould dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds and Trace McFarland almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that McFarland pulled down eight or more rebounds. Gage Suitter was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Morse's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Erskine Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Morse didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 86-58 loss vs. Lincoln Academy on the 8th. Erskine Academy has also already played their next contest, a 74-34 win against Waterville on the 8th.
