Basketball Recap: Libby's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Libby came into Friday's match having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Stevensville Yellowjackets 59-21. That's more bragging rights for the Loggers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Libby's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Stevensville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Libby and Bonners Ferry will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Stevensville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Anaconda on January 3, 2025.
