Madonna barely beat Cameron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Dons were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Dragons on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Dons sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Kendall Ryan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Madi Owens was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. She has been hot, having posted three or more RBI the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Orecchio, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Madonna pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.7 runs. As for Cameron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Madonna will challenge Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.17 runs per game on average), something the Blue Dons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cameron, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Frontier at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
