Basketball Game Preview: Lorena Leopards vs. Decatur Eagles

The Lorena Leopards and the Decatur Eagles will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Lorena was able to grind out a solid win over Palestine, taking the game 49-42. Given the Leopards' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Wildcats are ranked 433rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Decatur got the win against Prestonwood Christian on Monday by a conclusive 60-37. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Lorena, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
