Basketball Recap: North Star Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Big Sandy, North Star was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 51-42 victory over the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North Star's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Turner the next time they take the court. North Star will host Turner at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Chester-Joplin-Inverness will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
