Football Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Mitchell

Mitchell have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will square off against Hamilton at 7:00 PM. Mitchell are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Hamilton are stumbling in off of eight consecutive losses.

Mitchell won against Memphis Academy of Health Sciences two weeks ago with 14 points, and Mitchell decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Mitchell walked away with a 14-6 victory over Raleigh-Egypt.

Meanwhile, Hamilton have to be aching after a bruising 14-44 loss to Melrose. The state rankings had actually given Hamilton a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Mitchell's win lifted them to 5-4 while Hamilton's defeat dropped them down to 0-8. We'll find out if Mitchell can add another positive mark to their record or if Hamilton can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mitchell's step.
