Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cheyenne Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springfield Longhorns. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Cheyenne Wells saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailey Scheler had 15 digs and one assist.

Springfield was led to victory by Dakota Reid and Tylynn Rosengrants. Reid had 26 assists and 13 digs, while Rosengrants had 13 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Reid has posted over her last nine matches.

Cheyenne Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Springfield, they moved to 11-10 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Cheyenne Wells has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hanover on the 24th. Springfield has also already played their next matchup (against Trinidad), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
