Basketball Recap: Hailie Pafford Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Durand

Warren won the last time they faced Durand and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 41-34.

Warren got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailie Pafford out in front who went 6-for-7 on her way to 14 points. The dominant performance also gave Pafford a new career-high in shooting accuracy (86%). Another player making a difference was Lizzy Hartzell, who posted ten points and seven boards.

Durand's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaydan Bartlett, who earned 12 points and eight rebounds. Maddy Moore was another key player, putting up ten points.

Warren's record now sits at 10-14. As for Durand, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Warren wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-22 win against West Carroll on the 4th. As for Durand, they have also already played their next contest, a 39-18 loss against Pearl City on the 4th.
