Volleyball Recap: Kearns' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Kearns played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cyprus Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Pirates back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Kearns' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Cyprus, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kearns will face off against rival Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cyprus is set to take on their familiar foe Hunter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
