Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roncalli Catholic). They walked away with an 80-69 win over the South Sioux City Cardinals on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crimson Pride as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Roncalli Catholic picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-9. As for South Sioux City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roncalli Catholic will square off against Gross Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. Gross Catholic is on a three-game streak of home losses, Roncalli Catholic a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. As for South Sioux City, they will face off against Mount Michael Benedictine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
