Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beaver Local, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Philo on Tuesday.
Beaver Local was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 21-25, 25-19.
Carrollton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for Beaver Local, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
