Baseball Game Preview: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Cottonwood Colts

For the second straight game, Tooele will face off against Cottonwood. Tooele is taking a road trip to take on Cottonwood at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Tooele has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Cottonwood will arrive with six straight wins.

Tooele fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Cottonwood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 8-7.

Luis Garcia stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Higgins, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.
