It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McKeel Academy can now relate to. They lost 9-3 to the Bishop Verot Vikings on Monday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

McKeel Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Rouse, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

McKeel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Bishop Verot, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 29-1.

While McKeel Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
