Baseball Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss

Westmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-0 to the Los Altos Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Westmont saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Hines, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Westmont's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Westmont will be playing in front of their home fans against Branham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Los Altos, they will venture away from home to take on Palo Alto at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
