Basketball Recap: Whitmore Lake Piles Up the Points Against Dansville

While Whitmore Lake didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Dansville Aggies 61-24 on Monday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Aggies are ranked 693rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nate Dillon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Gardner, who posted eight points and six boards.

Whitmore Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-17 victory against Hope Christian Academy on the 14th. Dansville has also already played their next matchup (against St. Patrick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
