Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Stevens walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 55-14 victory over the Kamiakin Braves. The Vikings' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

It was another big night for Blake Moser, who threw for 215 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Jayvian Ferrell, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lake Stevens was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 224 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Lake Stevens didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brian Tilghman, Will Lynch, and Akio Yonesaka picked up one apiece.

Lake Stevens' victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Kamiakin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Coming up, Lake Stevens will challenge Moses Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mavericks' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. Kamiakin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
