Volleyball Recap: Bourbon County Comes Up Short

Bourbon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lexington Catholic Knights, falling 3-0. If the Colonels were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-14.

Bourbon County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lexington Catholic, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourbon County will square off against Pendleton County at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lexington Catholic, they will face off against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
