Softball Recap: Klein Cain Comes Up Short

Klein Cain lost against Magnolia West back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricanes came up short against the Mustangs, falling 13-5. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Prevost made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Brielee Weber was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Klein Cain's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Magnolia West, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-8.

Klein Cain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Magnolia West, they will venture away from home to challenge Klein at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Bearkats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
