Herriman had won two straight games and Jack Sperry did his part to make it three on Friday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Westlake Thunder as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Sperry, who had 14 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Westlake still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Burr, who had 15 digs.

Herriman's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Westlake, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17.

Herriman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cedar Valley on the 28th. As for Westlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Copper Hills on the 27th.
