Baseball Recap: East Aurora Comes Up Short

East Aurora couldn't beat Akron on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Blue Devils lost 15-6 to the Tigers. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 12-5 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Aurora saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Boedecker, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

East Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Akron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Aurora will welcome Pioneer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Akron, they will host Medina at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
