Volleyball Recap: Carthage Takes a Loss

Carthage lost against Whitehouse back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Whitehouse scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

Carthage's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Whitehouse, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carthage will head out to challenge Neches at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitehouse, they will challenge Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
