Basketball Recap: Port Huron Comes Up Short

Port Huron lost against Utica Ford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Port Huron Red Hawks received a blow as they fell 57-40 to the Utica Ford Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Falcons are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for Port Huron and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Utica Ford, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Port Huron has already played their next match (against Dakota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Utica Ford will take on Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
