Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Find Success

After losing to Creekside Christian Academy the last time they met, Upson-Lee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Upson-Lee got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 15-10.

Amiya Cromer paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up six kills. Cromer got some help from Kaylin Gresham and her eight assists. Gresham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Upson-Lee back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Upson-Lee will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against St. Anne-Pacelli at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they will face off against Ola at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
