Queen Creek has gone a perfect 10-0 against Desert Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Jaguars at 3:45 p.m. Queen Creek is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Queen Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Williams Field, who was ranked 24th at the time (Queen Creek was ranked ninth). The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Black Hawks on Thursday. Ten seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Cody Cooper looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Queen Creek let Jordan Ransom and Jet Berry run wild. Ransom went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Berry went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Ransom a new career-high. Alex Gamboa also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Meanwhile, Desert Ridge came up short against Highland on Thursday and fell 6-3.

Desert Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelton Floan, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Queen Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Desert Ridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-15.

Queen Creek took their win against Desert Ridge when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 20-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
