Football Recap: Normal Community's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

If Normal Community was riding high fresh off their 55-7 takedown of Urbana last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ironmen took a 28-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kankakee Kays on Friday. The Ironmen were not able to make up for their loss to the Kays from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Normal Community still got an impressive performance from Cole Kretsinger, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Cedric Terrell III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kankakee, picking up 158 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 158 receiving yards gave Terrell III a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Normal Community fell to 3-1. As for Kankakee, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Normal Community has already played their next contest, a 56-8 victory against Manual on the 26th. As for Kankakee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 31-0 win against Thornwood on the 26th.
