Baseball Game Preview: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. Reidsville Rams

The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Reidsville Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. T.W. Andrews has given up an average of 13.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

T.W. Andrews came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Dudley, falling 24-1. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Reidsville started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Rockingham County. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reidsville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kristian Scales, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

T.W. Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Reidsville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

T.W. Andrews suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Reidsville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Red Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
