Meanwhile, Godley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Hillsboro.

Alvarado's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Godley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
