Basketball Game Preview: Douglas Bulldogs vs. Arcadia Titans + How To Watch

The Douglas Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Arcadia Titans at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Douglas will be strutting in after a victory while Arcadia will be coming in after a loss.

Douglas took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They took down Sabino 41-22.

Douglas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carolina Anguiano out in front who posted four points in addition to 11 boards, six blocks, and five steals. Vivivana Grijalva was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Arcadia took a blow against Chaparral on Wednesday, falling 90-7.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Douglas, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Douglas against Arcadia in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 83-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
