Davis is a perfect 8-0 against Little Axe since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Davis Wolves will head out to challenge the Little Axe Indians at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Davis has eight straight victories, Little Axe has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Davis will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Sulphur, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Davis took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 65-30 win over Sulphur. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Little Axe came up short against Dewar on Friday and fell 53-44. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Dragons are ranked 166th).

Davis' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Little Axe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Everything came up roses for Davis against Little Axe in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 67-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Davis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
