Recap: Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries vs. Polson Pirates

The Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries won the last time they faced the Polson Pirates, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bigfork put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 61-41 victory.

Despite the loss, Polson still got an impressive performance from Cason Graham, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Brock Henriksen was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds.

Bigfork pushed their record up to 7-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Polson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Bigfork will be playing at home against the Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Browning knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully the Vikings & Valkyries likes a good challenge. As for Polson, they will head out on the road to take on the Loggers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
