Football Recap: Madison Warhawks vs. Foothill Knights
Madison couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foothill Knights on Friday.
Although Madison took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Murrell, Zagar Aiken, and Ryan Jackson.
Nathan Gouvion had an outrageously good game for Foothill as he rushed for 289 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Gouvion really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Gino Marchetti was another key player, throwing for 180 yards and a touchdown.
Madison will square off against Steele Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foothill, they will venture away from home to face off against Tustin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
