Gila Ridge is 9-1 against San Luis since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gila Ridge Hawks will head out to take on the San Luis Sidewinders at 6:00 p.m. Gila Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Gila Ridge got the win against Mesa by a conclusive 8-1. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Mesa with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Millianie Vega (4), Chayton Barron (2), Aryanna Romero, and Aaliyah Beccera Barrera.

Meanwhile, San Luis was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Cibola, falling 8-1. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Sidewinders it sure didn't stay that way.

Gila Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those eight games. As for San Luis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Gila Ridge's way against San Luis in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Gila Ridge made off with an 11-1 win. Does Gila Ridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will San Luis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
