Baseball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Kelly Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Kennett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kade Anderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Kelly, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennett will host Doniphan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kelly, they will be playing at home against Poplar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
