Loudoun Valley extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-7 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tuscarora Huskies, sneaking past 2-0. The Vikings' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

As for Tuscarora, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Tuscarora's part, they got a good showing from Ethan Johnson, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Johnson has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ian Sullivan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Loudoun Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tuscarora: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
