Baseball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marlow Outlaws. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Outlaws from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Brylan Anderson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 22-17. As for Marlow, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6.

Plainview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marlow, they will challenge MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
