Monterey not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 11th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Plainview Bulldogs 3-0. The Plainsmen haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Monterey not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Plainview between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Emerson Satterfield paced Monterey's offense, picking up ten kills. Satterfield got some help from Elly Varghese and her 13 assists. Finally, Ari Johnson kept Monterey's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Monterey's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Plainview, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Monterey will challenge Hobbs at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Plainview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Midland Legacy at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
