North Central is a perfect 3-0 against Lawrence North since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. North Central will be strutting in after a win while Lawrence North will be coming in after a defeat.

North Central not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Ben Davis with a sharp 3-0 victory.

North Central never let Ben Davis on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Lawrence North came up short against Noblesville on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Millers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Lawrence North was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Noblesville's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Lawrence North's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

North Central beat Lawrence North 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
