League recap: Craddock throws longest pass in league this season for Carpinteria

Ian Craddock and Duncan Gordon provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Santa Clara. The connection was good for 77 yards, the longest such play in Tri-Valley this season.

Nordhoff scaled the state rankings by moving to 72 from 102 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Rangers were able to move up by besting Thousand Oaks 28-10.

Craddock provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Carpinteria topped the Saints. He completed 7 passes for 172 yards and also ran for 176 yards.

Tanner Workman threw for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Brandon Coppel was a beast in the backfield as Oak Park beat El Segundo.

Workman put up the best numbers in passing as Nordhoff defeated the Lancers. Workman's favorite target this week was Taylor Brown, who caught 4 passes for 79 yards.

The Eagles' Chandler Whitbord and Matt Byer led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Whitbord has thrown for 1,214 yards this season, while Byer, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 37 catches for 801 yards. Santa Paula's Noah Magana leads the league in rushing yards with 772.

Adding to the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley this week, the Warriors beat Santa Clara 42-19. The victory was the fifth in a row for Carpinteria.
