Baseball Recap: Owosso Trojans vs. Kearsley Hornets
While Owosso put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Kearsley. The Trojans put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 10-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Hornets on Friday, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.
Jackson Sydow made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Owosso got a massive performance out of Cyril Thompson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
