Baseball Recap: Flint Hill Falls Short of Potomac School in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Flint Hill couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Potomac School Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Flint Hill got a good showing from Michael Morgan, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Morgan has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Flint Hill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Gratacos, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Flint Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Potomac School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Flint Hill nor Potomac School have any future games scheduled.
