Basketball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn and Glacier Peak squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Auburn had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-40 to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Glacier Peak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glacier Peak, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-50 defeat against Gonzaga Prep on the 7th.
