Softball Game Preview: Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars vs. Eastlake Wolves

The Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars will face off against the Eastlake Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bothell/Inglemoor took on Snohomish on Saturday. Bothell/Inglemoor fell just short of Snohomish by a score of 7-5.

Meanwhile, Eastlake had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 11-1 to Woodinville on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Eastlake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Heather Lloyd, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Bothell/Inglemoor was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastlake in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-3. Does Bothell/Inglemoor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eastlake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
